Ellerbeck, Lawrence Anderson

Lawrence Anderson Ellerbeck
succeeded John Robb in 1902

Mr L. A. Ellerbeck has opened a photographic gallery, and his view of different mines and also photographs and groups are considered to be par excellence. He is meeting with a fair share of custom, and is likely to make this his abode. He expresses himself astonished at the beautiful scenery so far neglected.

I have a post card photo with 'Ellerbeck Studio, Gisborne' on the back so when I googled Ellerbeck this was the first in the list that popped up. There's no date on the postcard so this has been helpful in determining about when the photo was taken, thank you. Very nice photos & article too.
