born circa 1866, New Zealand - BDM 1866/8445, son of Edward Adolphus Esquilant and Louisa Jane nee Burdick, married 1 July 1855 Old Church, Saint Pancras, London, England), died 22 October 1952 aged 86, buried Andersons Bay Cemetery block 21, plot 7, Dunedin City Council Cemeteries Database and BDM 1952/28890, married 11 October 1900, Jemima Forrest (Sissie) Fleming at the residence of the bride's parents, Hope Street, Dunedin, by the Rev. J. U. Spence.
